Textile Lamp- Winter 2022
This project started with a collage that I turned into three dimensional objects. I started using textile and markers to create small models. This technique enabled the working process to be quick and flexible. Having done multiple models I decided to scale up some of them and turn them into lamps. Scaling up a material changes its properties so the textile needed to be strengthened. The material research lead me to a natural binder that I mixed with color in order to replicate the models. I started layering the textiles and applied the binder to give the textile spatial properties.
